Do you host my website?

Yes! Visual Society is a fully-hosted platform. There is nothing to download and nothing to install.

Is my website secure?

Absolutely! We take security extremely seriously at Visual Society. All Visual Society websites load over https (SSL/secure). If you choose to use a custom domain name, you will be required to signup for a free CloudFlare account, which will provide you with a free SSL certificate.

Do you provide customer support?

Well of course! We provide live chat from within our site allowing you to connect with our team Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm EST. If you prefer, you can email us at support@visualsociety.com . In either case, we typically get back to you within a few of hours.

What is your money-back guarantee?

If you are not happy with any part of your Visual Society website, we will happily refund any payment from the last 30 days.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept payment using any major credit card.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel your account at anytime. Once you cancel your site, you will never be charged again.

What happens if I cancel my Visual Society account?

If for some reason you decide to cancel your account your public website will become inactive. If you change your mind, you will have 60 days to re-activate your account. After 60 days we will remove your account and content from Visual Society.

Can I downgrade/upgrade plans?

You can upgrade or downgrade your anytime on your dashboard. To cancel your account, please send us an email to support@visualsociety.com.

Is email included?

No, email is not included. We recommend using GSuite for your email.

Is FTP included?

No, Visual Society is a fully-hosted solution.

Do you offer domain purchases?

No, but we do recommend NameCheap as a Domain Registrar.

Do you offer DNS hosting?

No. We recommend CloudFlare as a DNS manager.

Do you offer backups?

Yes, if you need a backup of your website files, just email us at support@visualsociety.com.

Is there an upload limit?

Each plan comes with a specific upload limit. Please see our Plans page for details.

What kinds of files can I upload?

If you’re selling or showcasing photos, we recommend uploading high resolution JPG images.

Can I sell video/audio or other types of files?

Yes, you can! Just upload the file just like you would any other file.

What payment methods can I accept?

You can accept payments from all major credit cards. Check the Stripe website for country availability.

How do I receive my money?

Every time a transaction is made on your Visual Society site you receive the funds in your Stripe account immediately.

How will my customers receive their download purchases?

When you sell a download, the customer will receive a link to their downloads via email. Your website also includes a special Dashboard where your customers can login and download their past purchases.

Who prints and ships my photos to my customers?

Our print vendor handles everything for you. We use the same print vendor used by industry leaders.

 What currencies are supported?

You can set your Visual Society site to sell in these currencies:

US Dollars, Euros, Pounds Sterling, Australian Dollars, Brazilian Real, Canadian Dollars, Czech Koruna, Danish Krone, Hong Kong Dollar, Hungarian Forint, Israeli Shekel, Japanese Yen, Malaysian Ringgits, Mexican Peso, New Zealand Dollar, Norwegian Krone, Philippine Pesos, Polish Zloty, Russian Ruble, Singapore Dollar, Swedish Krona, Swiss Franc, Taiwan New Dollars, Thai Baht, Turkish Lira and South African Rand.
